SIGA Farm Software has been in operation since 1981 and specializes in the development, sale and support of farm management software. SIGA is a private company with its headquarters in Drummondville, Quebec, Canada.

Software for agriculture

In order to meet the needs of its customers, SIGA offers a full range of management software to meet the needs of farmers and their consultants: accounting and business management, goat, sheep and swine herd management, least-cost ration formulation, field and crop management and fertilization.

SIGA clients are located mainly in North America. Since 2010, our French partner ISAGRI has given us the opportunity to serve clients world-wide.

The software are specifically designed to meet the needs of farmers. They are simple, easy to use and intuitive. The data can be entered quickly and can be corrected easily. They are adaptable to different management styles with multiple custom settings and are precious decision-making tools with graphics and clear and concise reports.

Technology for farmers

SIGA is a partner in Lactologic Inc. with Valacta and DSAHR. LactoLogic develops and markets the Lac-T Dairy Herd Management software. Our position as a leader in the farm software industry is the result of the quality of our Customer Care Service and our constant concern to offer our clients high-performance and innovative tools.

SIGA is attentive to the needs of its customers and continues to evolve with software technology. Our team of agriculture and software specialists is always on the lookout for new development techniques in order to insure constant innovation in our products.

Employment opportunities

Sales Representative Position

Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Have a strong background in Ontario agriculture
  • Must be mobile, highly motivated and organized
  • Computer savvy, experience with CRM programs and learning new software
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Experience working remotely is preferred
  • Past sales experience is preferred
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset but not required

Responsibilities include:

  • Promoting, presenting and selling SIGA software to existing and prospective clients
  • Developing new customer relations
  • Providing basic customer support
  • Occasional travel within Canada
  • Presence at farm shows or other promotional activities
  • Providing management with regular sales activity reports
  • Participating in sales meetings and other sales related activities
